Chelsea Green is still America’s Champion!

Tonight’s WWE NXT episode kicked off with WWE United States Champion, Chelsea Green, defending her gold against NXT standout, Sol Ruca. A few weeks ago, Chelsea came down to NXT and was pinned by Sol in tag team action, which earned Sol Ruca this match.
The crowd started the match off hot when they actually recited the Pledge of Allegiance to Chelsea, which was one hell of a moment. But, Sol didn’t let that distract her and she brought the fight to the champion.
The back and forth contest saw both women have their big moments in the match, but it was Chelsea Green who targeted the knee of Sol for the duration of the match and really slowed the challenger down. Of course, Piper Niven, Alba Fyre and Zaria all got involved in the match and played a part.
In the end, it was Chelsea Green who attacked the back of the knee of Sol when she went for her signature ‘Sol Snatcher’ and finished it off with the un-prettier to retain her gold.
