Frankie Kazarian On TNA: “Getting On A Bigger Network Is The Focus Of Management”

TNA is on a hot steak of live event sell outs, very popular and crowded meet and greets, and very good content on their shows – the only thing missing is the distribution on a much bigger platform – it sounds like they could be coming to an end soon, which most TNA fans have been waiting a long time for. The “King of TNA” now gives some insight to conversations he’s has with Anthem management.

“Talking internally to management, that is the focus; getting distribution and getting on a bigger network. Getting on Sportsnet 360 in Canada when WWE went to Netflix was massive for us. That’s the equivalent of ESPN in Canada, which is going to be a lot more eyeballs on our product. If we could get that, we’re in the era of streaming, so dare I say a Paramount Plus, something like that. I know management is working tirelessly on doing that for us. With the momentum we have, I would hope by the end of the year we would have a different distribution deal getting more eyes on us,” Kazarian said on Stories with JBL & Gerald Brisco.

Frankie Kazarian signed a new contract with TNA Wrestling back in January. Frankie won the Call Your Shot gauntlet match back in October, which ensures him a shot to any title he chooses.

Due to Eric Young getting involved. Frankie lost to Steve Maclin at the TNA Sacrifice PLE this past Friday night. Eric Young was on commentary as both men were fighting on the outside. Young noticed Frankie take some brass knuckles out and put them around his fist. Young immediately grabbed them and put them on, nailing Frankie in the back of the head with them, and then rolling him into the ring.

Speaking of a better TV deal, TNA star Matt Hardy has repeatedly stated that Anthem/TNA is “actively working on that.”

In June of 2024, Anthem Sports – the parent company of TNA Wrestling – hired former WWE executive Rob Kligman as their Chief Revenue Officer. Kligman quickly made his intentions known, stating that they want to maximize distribution for TNA across both broadcast and streaming platforms

Back in December, Anthem also hired Carlos Silva to oversee Anthem Sports Group – which includes TNA Wrestling, Invicta FC, and Fight Network – who stated that his near-team focus is to find the best distribution available and sponsorships

It was also revealed recently that the Queen of the Ring movie would be sponsoring the recent LIVE Sacrifice PLE, including key integrations such as running ads for the movie during breaks and the logos on the ring mat – as well as sponsoring the Knockouts World Title match between Masha Slamovich and Cora Jade – to name a few.

Back in January, Tommy Dreamer spoke about the ambitious goals of TNA in 2025, which mincludes “a larger television platform.”

Whether a new television deal happens in 2025 remains to be seen, but TNA has also been licensing out their replay rights to regional networks in multiple areas.

Within the last week or so of 2024, TNA confirmed the Bodyslam report that they would be partnering with Sportsnet in Canada for an exclusive, multi-year deal to air their weekly TNA iMPACT programming on their Sportsnet 360 channel.
