Moments ago, former TNA star Hammerstone took to his social media Twitter account to reveal that he is no longer under contract with TNA. He thanked them for the opportunity and looks forward to the future.
This is somewhat of a surprising move. Hammerstone seemed like a great fit in TNA, coming in and feuding with a top star – Josh Alexander. Hammerstone immediately looked like the powerhouse that he is before an outside the company *medical incident* sidelined him for a few months. When he returned, Hammerstone would team with Jake Something for a short while before needing knee surgery in December of 2024.
Hammerstone also appeared on NXT a few times as part of their partnership with WWE.
There is no word on if the release was requested by Hammerstone or it came from the TNA side, but Bodyslam will keep the updates coming if any are made available.
Myself and the Bodyslam staff wish Hammerstone all the best in whatever he does next.
