–Mike Santana vs John Skyler (w/Jason Hotch & Tasha Steelz)
During tonight’s TNA Impact broadcast, Mustafa Ali ran a defamatory video package about Mike Santana following his victory over NXT star Oro Mensah. Santana was upset and went to the back looking for Ali, however, he found his lackeys instead – Tasha Steelz and the Great Hands. Santana asked Skyler where Ali is, to which Skyler replied that Ali doesn’t want his time with people who are beneath him. Santana told him to let Ali know that he’s looking for him. Skyler said he would relay the message, to which Santana say he should relay a boot in the ass…and then the two were separated by Tasha Steelz before it could become a physical assault.
Santana will get his hands on Skyler next week.
-The Northern Armory (Eric Young, Judas Icarus, Travis Williams) vs Ace Austin & The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz)
This is kind of a random match with each team going in different directions. Eric Young took over the leadership of The Northern Armory and then immediately took out Josh Alexander permanently. Their sights have been set on Steve Maclin and trying to recruit him.
Young has a vision and guidance he feels can help take Judas Icarus and Travis Williams to the next level.
Meanwhile, an NXT group headed up by Wes Lee will give The Northern Armory a good fight as he teams up with Tyson DuPont and Tyrieke Igwe for the bout.
These guys have been embroiled in a program with former friends and partners The Rascalz – Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz – as well as Ace Austin. They’re all scheduled to resolve their differences in a match at the TNA Sacrifice event on 3/14.
Can Wes and his guys pick up the victory, or will Young and his guys be too much for the NXT stars?
-We’ll hear from TNA Knockouts World Champion, Masha Slamovich
Masha Slamovich defends the TNA Knockouts World Title against Cora Jade next week on the March 14th TNA Sacrifice event.
Cora attacked Masha each of the last two weeks – once after Masha defeated what was originally going to be Tessa Blanchard’s opponent,
Mila Moore, and once again last week when Masha was backstage watching the match Tessa Blanchard defeat Kelsey Heather on a tv monitor.
What will Masha have to say ahead of their match? Will Masha suffer an attack at the hands of Cora again this week, or will she be ready for it? These questions and more will be answered when we tune in tonight to find out.
-Xia Brookside vs Savannah Evans
Xia Brookside and Savannah Evans were the last two competitors in the Knockouts Battle Royal a few weeks ago in which the winner would receive a shot at the Knockouts World Title.
It looked like Brookside was going to win the match, and then Cora Jade got up from the commentary booth to distract Xia. Evans took advantage of this and ended up winning the match.
Can Xia exact her revenge, or will Savannah prove her dominance? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
-NXT Heavyweight Champion Oba Femi will go face to face with TNA X Division Champion Moose
TNA X Division Champion Moose and NXT Heavyweight Champion Oba Femi come face to face ahead of their NXT title bout on 3/11 at Madison Square Garden.
-A new FIR$T CLA$$ Penthouse segment
On the LIVE 2/20 episode of TNA iMPACT, AJ Francis and KC Navarro – both representing FIR$T CLA$$ – emerged from the back with an entourage and some cool guests to announce a new segment called FIRST CLASS PENTHOUSE.
The guests on this show included a star-studded group, including: former Busted Open producer and current podcast host of Gabby AF, Gabby LaSpisa; independent professional wrestler Valentina Rossi; independent wrestler Carolina Cruz; Orlando-based rapper MOE IS BETTER; multi-platinum music producer Reazy Renegade; former TNA star Mick Foley’s daughter, Noelle Foley; and pro-wrestling manager Frank The Clown.
Who will be the guest on tonight’s edition of the show? We’ll have to tune in to find out.
-Matt and Jeff Hardy vs The Colons (Eddie & Orlando)
The Colons debuted with TNA on the LIVE 2/20 iMPACT episode, interrupting TNA World Champion Joe Hendry and setting up a tag team match for later that night, which they lost.
The Hardy’s will get a chance to get their hands on one of the most storied tag teams in the business when they do battle with Eddie and Orlando Colon tonight.
Last week, they aligned themselves with the dastardly System faction, which they’ll team up with at TNA Sacrifice on March 14th as part of a huge tag team match.
Will the Hardy’s come out on top, or will The Colon’s alliance with the System help them capture the victory? We’ll have to see how it all plays out tonight!
-Elijah vs Brian Myers
Former WWE star Elijah makes in TNA singles debut tonight against Brian Myers.
Elijah debuted with TNA on the LIVE 2/20 iMPACT! Episode when he emerged just in time to save TNA World Champion Joe Hendry from a beating at the hands of the newly-debuted Colons.
Last week, Matt & Jeff Hardy fell to the System in the main event of the show. Afterwards, The Colons made their way out and assisted the System with a beatdown of The Hardys, which is when Joe Hendry and Elijah came out and helped make stave off the “bad guys.” A five on five match was announced for Sacrifce, with Joe Hendry and Matt Hardy being able to choose three partners of their choice. After helping scare off The System, Hardy asked Elijah to join their team as soon as they got backstage. Elijah agreed.
Tonight, he gets his hands on one member of The System, Brian Myers. Elijah gets to show Myers and this company what he’s all about and send a message to the rest of The System ahead of their match at Sacrifice.
Will Elijah emerge Victoria, or will Myers enlist his System buddies for help to capture the victory? We’ll have to watch to find out.
