Reason Revealed For Mickie James WWE LFG Replacement
WWE LFG Season 2.
WWE Legends & Future Greats
WWE LFG, Legends and Future Greats, is a competition show currently airing season one on A&E. Four legendary coaches pick teams of potential WWE prospects and coach them up to possibly win a WWE NXT contract. Right now, the season one coaches are Undertaker, Booker T, Bubba Ray and Mickie James.
Yesterday, it was revealed that WWE LFG has signed on for a season two, but Mickie James will not be a coach. Instead, she will be replaced by Michelle McCool, who did make an appearance on one episode of this seasons show. Now, Fightful Select has reported that Michelle McCool was brought on for season two following her husband, Undertaker, wanting her to be involved more. But, it’s to be noted that he didn’t push for her to replace Mickie.
Sources close to A&E production claimed to Fightful that The Undertaker was instrumental on getting his wife on the show. The claim from that those close to the series say that Undertaker was open to continuing the show if Michelle McCool was involved, so she was brought in to replace Mickie James.
It is important to note, that we have not heard anything claiming that Undertaker specifically wanted Mickie James off the show or wanted Michelle McCool to actively replace Mickie James. Just that he wanted Michelle involved.
The dynamic of Husband and Wife coaching against each other should make for some interesting television, at least.
