The System has been an integral part of TNA television since debuting in January of 2024. Both Eddie and his wife Alisha Edwards have been a critical part of the group since its inception.
Now, it appears neither are going anywhere – at least not anytime soon.
PWInsider is reporting that both Eddie and Alisha Edwards have signed new deals with TNA Wrestling.
Eddie is a former multiple-time TNA Tag Team Champion – most recently partnering with his fellow System member Brian Myers to win them twice in 2024. Both times they defeated ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) to capture the titles.
The pair lost the titles to Matt & Jeff Hardy at the Bound For Glory PPV back in October of 2024. The duo have been running rampant and dominating in TNA as part of The System.
Alisha has been a key part of the group, managing them to numerous victorious including Moose and the X Division Title, as well as both Tag Team Title reigns. Alisha also recently participated in a Knockouts Battle Royal with the winner getting their shot at Masha Slamovich and the TNA Knockouts World Title – where she fell short of victory.
Eddie is set to compete with JDC and Brian Myers of The System to team with the Colons and take on Joe Hendry, Matt Hardy, Elijah, and two partners of their choosing on the 3/14 Sacrifice PLE.
Will they pull off the victory? We’ll have to continue to tune in to find out.
