Ricky Saints is no longer champion.
DEFY Wrestling
On February 7, Ricky Starks (now Saints) defeated KENTA at DEFY’s Anniversary event to become their World Champion. Just a few short weeks later, Ricky would sign and compete for WWE NXT. Now, he’s an official WWE superstar and can no longer defend his DEFY World Title. Today, Ricky dropped a video announcing that he will be relinquishing his DEFY Championship.
But, don’t worry DEFY fans. He also announced that on March 15, 2025, DEFY will run their Super 8XGP event where eight participants will compete to become the new champion. Participants will be announced soon.
