AJ Styles may be making a TNA return sooner then later.
According to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Styles will “likely” be making an appearance in TNA soon.
“He teased calling out AJ Styles (who will likely make a TV appearance here soon) but Styles wasn’t there.”
Last night during the LIVE TNA iMPACT episode, AJ Styles came out with quite an entourage and said he’s the best AJ to even be in TNA. He called out AJ Styles, who obviously didn’t return to the company last night.
AJ introduced a new show called FIRST CLASS PENTHOUSE, and when he introduced the first guest, he labeled him as “Phenomenal”, says he’s got a whole lot of “Style”, he then introduced the one and only…AJ…Francis. Francis feeds into the crowd asking if they’re mad, and then says “he (Styles) left this place to make more money in that place (WWE). I left that place to save this place (TNA).”
Numerous WWE talent have been calling out TNA talent and wanting to be part of the TNA/WWE partnership since it has been announced in mid January. WWE star Natalya has called out TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich, Joe Hendry called out WWE star Sheamus, former WWE Women’s Champion Bayley wants to come to TNA. WWE Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green wants to return to TNA for a match.
