Carmella is technically a free agent.
Carmella Update
Carmella is a former WWE Women’s Champion and WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, as well as former Money In The Bank holder. But, despite her decorated WWE career thus far, she’s been out of action since 2023. She had a child with commentator Corey Graves and then suffered from drop foot which has kept her out past pregnancy.
Now, Fightful Select along with PWN have reported that she’s technically not with WWE at all, as her contract has expired recently. As of now, she’s still dealing with her foot issues and frequently updates about it on Instagram.
Masked J of PWN and Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp have learned that former Women’s Champion Carmella has had her contract expire recently and is technically no longer with WWE.
Carmella last wrestled for WWE in March 2023, but had only been back for about six weeks. She’d been out of action since 2022 prior. She’s since had a child and noted she was battling drop foot.
This does not mean Carmella is fully done with WWE, as she could sign a new contract and return. But again, she continues to battle with her injuries and is still on the shelf regardless.
