Road Dogg Named Co-Lead Writer Of SmackDown
Road Dogg is in charge.
WWE SmackDown
WWE SmackDown airs Friday nights on the USA Network in the U.S. and things are happening behind-the-scenes with the show. WWE legend Road Dogg has been a part of WWE outside of a competitive role for years. From writing, producing and helping backstage, Road Dogg is no stranger to the business beyond the ring.
Now, PWInsider has confirmed that ‘Road Dogg’ Brian James was named co-lead writer of SmackDown. Road Dogg joins John Swikata in heading the creative for the blue brand.
Some WWE fans have had concerns about the brand, as it’s been pointed out that WWE RAW feels more creative and more fulfilling than the SmackDown side of things.
