Earlier today, numerous outlets reported behind the scenes chances in TNA, which Bodyslam covered here.
PWInsider has learned of some other changes behind the scenes as well.
As part of today’s TNA restructuring behind the scenes, PWInsider.com is told that John E. Bravo and Ingrid Isley are now working in the Talent Relations aspect of the company.
Bravo has worked on camera in different roles for the company over the years and has long been a trusted backstage asset.
Isley is the floor manager for TNA events.Both are extremely well liked internally, so the ascension in responsibility was not a surprise.
That department headed by Gail Kim.
For those keeping track, Josh Matthews and Christy Hemme were among the TNA departures today.
-Anthem Sports executive Carlos Silva was officially named the TNA President after Anthony Cicione has stepped back from that role.
-New Anthem executive George Veras has been hired as the Executive Producer, replacing Josh Matthews as Senior TV Producer.
-Mark Brown was also hired on as part of Veras’s new team as the Director of TNA.
-Newly-hired Anthem Sports executive Andrea Pagnanelli is the SVP of Marketing, effectively taking Christy Hemme’s spot as the Head of Marketing.
This seems like great news, and these changes – along with the ones revealed earlier today – seem like TNA Wrestling parent company Anthem Sports is continuing their investment into the company and putting experienced people in places that will help elevate the company. Time will tell if these are good moves, but for now we can hope it’s all positive.
