Malakai has finished up with AEW.
Free Agency
Earlier today it was noted that Malakai Black was removed from the AEW roster page. Now, PWInsider has reported that he’s gone from All Elite Wrestling after his contract expired yesterday, making Malakai Black a free agent.
Malakai joined AEW in 2021 after being released by WWE. He would then slowly form the House Of Black, which featured Malakai, Brody King, Julia Hart and Buddy Matthews. Together they won the Trios Championships. Malakai feuded with the likes of Adam Copeland, which ended with a violent cage match.
Now, the House Of Black have been rebranded into the Hounds Of Hell as Malakai is no longer apart of the group. Rumors have swirled that he could potentially return to WWE, but nothing is official as of now. Malakai is a free agent and will seemingly be looking to seek out a deal.
