Tony Khan Does Not Want To Take AEW Public
AEW won’t be public.
All Elite Wrestling
Tony Khan has built up All Elite Wrestling to be the second biggest wrestling promotion behind WWE. The success of AEW was brought on very fast and has been only moving forward as they recently scored a streaming deal with MAX.
Despite the success, Tony Khan doesn’t want to make AEW a public company and instead remains private. Tony Khan recently spoke with Alex Sherman of CNBC, where he was asked if he would potentially take AEW public, to which he responded;
“I don’t want to. I think we have a great family business. I’m still a relatively young executive. Someday, I’d like to have a family and hopefully they can work in the business. It’s a family business,”
AEW will remain private, as least for the time being.
