Free Agent Talent Indi Hartwell Calls Out TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich: “I Don’t Want To Be A Knockout, I Want To Be THE Knockout”
Indi Hartwell is a former WWE MXT Women’s champion who was released by WWE in November of 2024, and just recently became a free agent when she cleared her 90-day No Compete attachment to her contract. Indi has been suspected by many fans to be headed to TNA, although before now there was no strong hint of that.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Hartwell was asked what’s next for her.
“I feel like I’m a very creative person and I’m showing that on my YouTube channel. I’m trying to show people an insight into the real me. With limited TV time, you don’t really get to show your personality and I feel like it’s helping me get more supporters. I would love to be back on TV. I don’t want to just be another girl on the roster. I was happy to do that in WWE, but maybe it bit me in the ass. I think I need to aspire for more. I don’t want to be another girl on the roster. I want to be the girl,” she said.
Asked who she would like to face now that she’s a free agent, Indi replied, “I haven’t done the whole ‘write the list of people’ you want to work with. I feel like a lot of people do that. That’s not really me. Who I want to wrestle will just coincide with what my goals are. I don’t want to be a girl on the roster. I don’t want to be a Knockout, I want to be the Knockout. Masha Slamovich is the Knockouts Champion, put her number one.”

Indi used to team with current TNA Knockout Steph De Lander (formerly Persia Pirotta) in NXT as a tag team. At the time of her release, Indi was part of the WWE main roster and teaming with Candace LaRae.
TNA is running their next LIVE show on Thursday, February 20th from Full Sail University (get your tickets for that here). Many fans articulate that Indi could very well show up there if she’s coming into the company.
