There has been plenty of buzz going around between TNA & WWE since their partnership was officially announced a few weeks ago. Most of the hype has been a talent exchange between the two companies, but recently some main roster WWE talent have been calling out and making their intentions clear that they want to come to TNA and/or be part of a story with a certain person. Chelsea Green was the first to make it known, followed by Bayley and most recently Natayla. Bayley and Natalya are both former WWE Women’s Champions, and Chelsea is the current WWE United States Women’s Champion.
Natalya was recently interviewed by Contralona and called out TNA Knockouts World Champion Slamovich:
“Masha Slamovich, I really want to have a championship match with her. Masha, I’m coming for your championship. I’m coming for your championship. That’s the cool thing right now. I’m challenging you right now Masha. I think Masha is so talented.”
Masha is the current TNA Knockouts World Champion after defeating former Knockouts World Champion and now current WWE star Jordynne Grace for the belt back in October of last year at the annual Bound For Glory PPV.
Masha is entangled with NXT star Cora Jade right now, but with bigger arenas in the Galen Center in Los Angeles, California for the Rebellion PPV and the UBS Arena in Long Island, New York, some star power like Natalya Neidhart could go a long way.
TNA World Champion Joe Hendry is just the latest star to be involved in cross promotion as he participated in the WWE Royal Rumble a few days ago as the fifteenth entrant.
Will it happen? Hopefully. This is fun to speculate and see who is interested in “Crossing The Line” and who is going to be heading to WWE programming.
