Exclusive: Vinny Pacifico Talks His Upcoming Role In The Movie “The Frequency Of Miracles,” And What The Times Square Billboard Means To Him

Vinny TimesSquareico.

Independent Professional Wrestler Vinny Pacifico has been everywhere recently, and is one of the fastest-rising stars on the indie scene. Vinny is known for his high-energy style, crisp in-ring work, undeniable charisma, vigorous work ethic, and of course energy drinks – having been previously sponsored by Bang Energy & G-Fuel Energy.

Vinny Pacifico isn’t just making waves in the wrestling world—he’s been making a difference long before stepping into the ring. Prior to suplexing his way through the indies, Vinny worked with children with disabilities and special needs, a role that showcased his heart just as much as his hustle. Those who know him say his patience, dedication, and ability to connect with people are just as strong outside the ring as they are inside it. Now, as he continues to rise in wrestling, Pacifico is branching out into acting, looking to bring that same passion and energy to the screen.

Vinny Pacifico is leveling up in a big way (as the kids say), not just in the ring, but on the big screen. The independent wrestling star is appearing in the upcoming film “The Frequency of Miracles,” marking a major step in his acting career. But that’s not all, Vinny is heavily featured in the movie’s marketing campaign. The Frequency of Miracles advertisement debuted Monday on one of the most iconic and recognizable billboards in Times Square, putting Vinny’s face front and center in one of the busiest spots in the world.

I spoke to Vinny about role in “The Frequency of Miracles,” and what it meant to see himself featured in an advertisement in Times Square on one of the most well known billboards in the world, not only as an independent professional wrestler, but as a native New Yorker.

“The billboard ad is promoting an upcoming movie that I am featured in called the “Frequency Of Miracles.” In the move I tell my story and talk about obstacles I have faced while chasing my dreams, and how my mindset changed as I continued going further into my career. All of which has made me into the professional wrestler, actor, and entrepreneur that I now am.”

“The movie is directed by Daniel Rechnitzer, and Executive Producer Tony Dody saw something in me and wanted to give me an opportunity on a movie set, alongside some major names, like one of the greatest speakers in the world Les Brown, Dr. Bruce Lipton, Dr. Joe Vitale, Khalila Ali – who is the late Muhammad Ali’s ex wife, Michael Beckwith, Kute Blackson, and so many more amazing people.”

“Being featured in “The Frequency of Miracles,” has given me the opportunity to shine light on the world of Professional Wrestling, which is such a special thing for me and it has given me a chance to share my experiences traveling the globe. But when you work hard and bet on yourself, all things become possible. I hope other wrestlers are moved and inspired, and know that opportunities are endless.”

“Having the opportunity as an independent professional wrestler to be featured in an actual movie, and be put on one of, if not the most prestigious billboards in the entire world is truly such an honor. Seeing myself on a Time Square billboard is something I never thought I would see. I am truly grateful for every single fan who believes in me.”

“As a professional wrestler who is getting to grow their brand, and do things that many would deem impossible, I just hope that I’m inspiring others along the way. It’s a true statement to how hard work pays off, and is an achievement that I am so blessed to be able to have accomplished.

“As someone from New York, growing up watching all these amazing movies that were filmed in Manhattan, and in Times Square, seeing myself featured on the Nasdaq Billboard makes me think of when I was a kid watching Tobey Maguire’s Spider-man. Now I am getting to be seen on one of those beautiful buildings, in the city that never sleeps.. A rare opportunity like that doesn’t come very often, and the experience isn’t lost on me. It brings up a feeling of accomplishment. Living in New York you always hear how amazing and grand Time Square is, and this experience is truly just a dream come true.”
