Hulk Hogan Is Hated
Hulk Hogan was a beloved character in the 80’s but as time went on, more people have turned to hate him. He’s hated so much, that he can’t even get a nostalgia pop anymore and that was evident at WWE’s RAW Netflix debut when he came out to promote his Real American Beer and was booed out of the building in L.A.
Now, while speaking with Pat McAfee on the Pat McAfee Show, Hogan was asked if he expected the reaction he got and he said he did!
I did. You have to realize, the last I ran hard in LA, I was a bad guy. I was Hollywood Hogan and riding dirty with [Kevin] Nash and [Scott] Hall, spray painting people and crotch chopping everybody. Last time I was there, I was a heel. I think the politics had a whole lot to do with it. At the end of the day, we looked at it the next day because I had eleven billion impressions, and some of the big stars that were on the card that night only had three billion. I don’t want to name names. [Does ear cup]. Give me some more,
Hulk Hogan is still in a partnership with WWE to promote his beer and the beer logo is on the ring mat for Monday Night RAW each week. Though it’s unlikely it’ll be any time soon, we will probably see Hogan on WWE programming again.
