Earlier today on the LIVE Busted Open Radio Show in Indianapolis, current WWE Womens United States Champion Chelsea Green confronted Tommy Dreamer about not responding to some text messages she sent about returning to the company.
“I’m actually so happy Tommy’s here too because I have been sending him numerous texts trying to get on TNA, now he’s in front of me, he’s gotta answer me. What do you think—maybe me vs Masha? Winner takes all?”
Tommy Dreamer can be heard saying that it would be above his pay grade to authorize that.
Chelsea is clearly interested in returning to the company, even if it’s just for one match, to put her title on the line against Masha Slamovich.
Chelsea defeated Michin (formerly Mia Yim) on the December 14, 2024 episode of Saturday Night Main Event to become the inaugural WWE Women’s Champion. Chelsea is a former TNA (IMPACT) Knockouts Tag Team Champion with Deonna Purrazzo, and a former TNA (IMPACT) Knockouts World Champion as the Laurel Van Ness character.
Masha Slamovich is the current TNA Knockouts World Champion after defeating Jordynne Grace last October at the Bound For Glory PPV.
WWE and TNA Wrestling entered into an official multi-year partnership a few weeks ago, so anything is possible as far as talent from either company showing up.
