TNA iMPACT Results – January 30th, 2025
–Nic Nemeth to address TNA fans–
Nic Nemeth comes out for the first time since losing the title. Nemeth commends Hendry for the win and says that Hendry got the better of him at Genesis, but says that he wants the title back.
Nic is interrupted by his brother Ryan, who quickly trash talks Hendry. He says that his brother isn’t happy with what happened at Genesis, and that Joe got lucky. Ryan tells Nic he’s the real champion even if he’s too humble to say it. Ryan calls Joe a fraud.
Nic says that 2025 is going to be the year of the Nemeth brothers.
KC Navarro comes out with AJ Francis and interrupts Nic. AJ reintroduces themselves as FIR$T CLA$$. AJ says that he agrees with Ryan, but he’s here to talk to the only Nemeth brother that matter. AJ says that Nic doesn’t deserve to go after the World Title again after losing the title to Joe Hendry. AJ reminds everybody that he wrestled Nic for the TNA World Title in the main event of a SOLD OUT Final Resolution show, and that’s what got him his new contract – what he claims is the most lucrative contract in TNA history. AJ tells Nic that its time for the old-timers to step aside because this is the era of TNAJ Francis.
Nic chimes in and says he doesn’t know the point of AJ and KC coming out here, whether theyre trying to intimidate or challenge them–Ryan cuts Nic off and says that they’ll wrestle against KC and AJ. Santino Marella comes out and makes a match between First Class (KC Navarro & AJ Francis) and the Nemeth Brothers official for later tonight.
Gia Miller standing by with Arianna Grace and asks what we can expect from the partnership. Tessa walks up and says that this isnt TNA and she doesn’t get to tell her what to do. Tessa says that Arianna looks like a girl who got everything handed to her-not like her, who worked for everything she’s got. Tessa says that Gia isn’t needed either, and then exclaims that she answers to NOBODY!
We see a clip from Xia Brookside exchanging words with Cora Jade earlier today.
-NXT’s Cora Jade vs. HYAN
NXT Star Cora Jade def. Hyan in a pretty quick squash match after Cora laid Hyan out with the JADED and secured the pinfall.
Winner: NXT star Cora Jade
Post-match, Cora continues the attack on Hyan after the match is over, prompting Xia Brookside to come out to make the save but was beaten down also. Masha Slamovich ran down and Cora scattered.
Gia Miller is standing by backstage with Wes Lee, Tyrieke Ogwe, and Tyson DuPont. Gia asked Wes why he did what he did last week. Wes says that the NXT Tag Team Titles are already reserved for Tyson and Tyrieke because Wes promised them he’s doing to lead them to glory. Lee says it doesn’t matter who they have to go through – starting tonight with Ace Austin.
Personal Concierge George Iceman is standing backstage with both Ash & Heather By Elegance, as well as Director of Authority, Santino Marella. Iceman says that they called the lawyers after getting screwed out of the tag team title match at Genesis, and the person who got pinned wasn’t the legal one in the match. Iceman says that Heather and Ash should be the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions right now.
Santino announces that next week he will be holding a Knockouts Battle Royal and they’re both in the match. The winner will receive a shot at the Knockouts World Title. Dani Luna and Jody Threat walk up and exchange unpleasantries with Heather & Ash, as they’ll both be in the match as well.
-Brian Myers (w/The System) vs. Leon Slater
Brian Myers def. Leon Slater after The System caused a distraction so Myers could hit Slater with his SYSTEM ring, followed by a ROSTER CUT.
Winner: Brian Myers
Mance Warner and Steph De Lander are walking up backstage. Steph says the Digital Media title is hers because she won it in the divorce. Mance says they’re here In TNA now, and then Mance is attacked behind by Sami Callihan. Both men battle out of view of the camera.
We go backstage to Frankie Kazarian talking to Leon Slater about being his lackey and holding his trophy. Leon says he’s lost because everybody keeps cheating and he’s sick of it. The System walk up and offer Leon to carry their bags, Alisha offers Leon a spot as her assistant. Matt & Jeff Hardy walk up and take Leon’s side and will stand side by side with Slater next week against The System.
Sami and Mance battle into the crowd from the backstage area. Sami is about to smash a chair on Mance’s head with a baseball bat, just as SDL runs down and slides the Digital Media Title into the ring, causing Sami to turn his attention to her. Mance gets up and grabs the belt, smashing it into the face of Sami. Mance nails Sami with two knees to the face and leaves him laid out.
We go backstage to Maclin and Eric Young discussing Eric teaming with Josh Alexander. Maclin can’t believe Eric is actually going to team with Josh after how Josh has treated everybody lately. Young says hes been around this business for 30 years and knows what he’s doing. Maclin wishes him luck, but says he’s not going to stick around to see what he knows is going to happen.
-Laredo Kid vs. Mustafa Ali
Mustafa Ali def. Laredo Kid with a 450 Splash off the top rope for the victory.
Winner: Mustafa Ali
We go backstage to Mustafa Ali (surrounded by his security) talking about how he started off his campaign hot with a victory. He says the momentum is going to continue. Mike Santana walks up as the security step up. Ali tells them it’s good, he’s a friend. Santana says that he gives respect and expects it in return, and Ali interrupting Santana last week was disrespectful. Santana says he knows how he rolls and they can go to the ring right now. Ali says that he just went through a grueling match, but he’s got a friend who’s “Always Ready” who he’s going to talk to. Ali walks away.
-Eric Young & Josh Alexander vs. The Northern Armory (Judas Icarus & Travis Williams)
Josh Alexander tagged Eric Young in and then Eric turns around and attacks Josh. Young looks to Judas and Travis as all three men beat down Josh Alexander. Eric Young leaves him laid out with a piledriver.

We come back from commercial break to Joe Hendry holding his TNA World Title over his shoulder, talking about how he defeated Matt Cardona last week. Hendry says he’s going to be a fighting champion, but while he’s waiting for his next challenger he’s going to give the fans an exclusive concert next week.
We get a rundown of the matches for next week.
Nic & Ryan Nemeth vs. FIR$T CLA$$ (AJ Francis & KC Navarro)
–Nic & Ryan Nemeth def. FIR$T CLA$$ (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) after Nic hits KC with a DANGER ZONE but Ryan makes a blind tag and pins KC Navarro.
