EXCLUSIVE: Ryan Nemeth on TNA’s Surging Popularity – “Every Show Has Been a Sellout”
“The energy is doubling at every show. It’s insane to see how fast TNA is growing.”
TNA Wrestling is undergoing a massive resurgence, and Ryan Nemeth has a front-row seat to the revolution. The Hollywood Hunk joined the company last year and has witnessed firsthand the explosive rise in attendance, fan engagement, and overall buzz around the promotion.
Speaking exclusively to Mark O’Brien (@wrestlemobs) on Bodyslam.net, Nemeth revealed just how quickly TNA has transformed from wrestling’s underdog to a legitimate top-tier player once again.
“We started in small venues, now it’s selling out and even adding more fans on second nights! The energy is doubling every time we go to a new city, and it’s incredible to be part of something that’s genuinely growing this fast.”
TNA’s Explosive Growth: “Every Show is Packed”
Once seen as an afterthought in the wrestling world, TNA is now selling out arenas at a rapid pace. Their recent Genesis event in Texas was a major success, featuring a main event segment with Nemeth, his brother Nick Nemeth (formerly WWE’s Dolph Ziggler), Joe Hendry, and even WWE Hall of Famer JBL.
Nemeth was quick to credit the passionate TNA fanbase for the company’s momentum:
“You can just feel it—TNA is hot right now. You look at the crowds, and every show is packed, sometimes beyond capacity. We did a two-day taping recently, and usually, you’d expect the second night to drop off a bit in attendance. Instead, it actually had 1,000 more people than the first night! That doesn’t happen by accident.”
With every pay-per-view delivering strong numbers and a growing digital presence, it’s clear that TNA is once again a force in pro wrestling.
TNA’s Upcoming Big Moves – Returning to NXT’s Home
As part of its continued expansion, TNA will soon return to Full Sail University, the former home of WWE’s NXT brand, for a major event. For Ryan Nemeth, it’s an emotional full-circle moment.
“Every time I land in Florida, I just get hit with memories. My time in FCW and NXT was one of the most formative times in my life. Seeing TNA return to Full Sail is surreal—it’s like time doesn’t exist, and I never left NXT. It’s wild, but also really exciting to see how wrestling is changing.”
TNA is also gearing up for three massive pay-per-views in the coming months:
- TNA Sacrifice – March 14 (El Paso, Texas)
- TNA Rebellion – April 27 (Galen Center, Los Angeles)
- TNA Slammiversary – July (UBS Arena, Long Island, NY)
The Rebellion PPV in LA is particularly special for Nemeth, who lives in California and is excited to see TNA run a major basketball arena in a wrestling hotbed.
“The Galen Center is incredible. My brother, Kazarian, and I went there to check it out and meet the staff, and it’s just a phenomenal venue. Having TNA run a live pay-per-view there is huge. I don’t even know if I’ll be on the show yet, but I’ll definitely be part of it in some way.”
TNA vs. AEW? Nemeth Subtly Takes a Shot at His Former Company
Nemeth’s journey to TNA wasn’t an expected one. He previously spent time in WWE’s developmental system as Briley Pierce and later had a notable run in AEW, where he formed The Wingmen faction.
However, his departure from AEW was anything but smooth, following a reported backstage conflict. While he didn’t go into detail, he did make a strong contrast between how AEW used him and how TNA values his contributions.
“At some other company, they thought the best I could offer was an eight-man tag match on a Ring of Honor show that nobody watches. Now, I’m trusted to be part of major segments, and it feels great.”
TNA has been making waves with its growing roster, the return of big names like The System (Moose, Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers, and Alisha Edwards), and a working relationship with WWE/NXT—which could bring even more fresh matchups in the future.
For Nemeth, it’s clear that TNA is a company on the rise, not just creatively but as a business.
“I’m not the main event of the company, but I know I fit in and that I contribute. That’s all you can ask for in wrestling—being somewhere that actually sees value in what you bring. I feel like I have that in TNA.”
