Danny Cage Questions Why The Monster Factory Isn’t Getting WWE ID Looks
Danny Cage wants answers.
The Monster Factory
The Monster Factory is a pro-wrestling training school based out of New Jersey. The co-owner of the factory is former pro-wrestler Danny Cage. Together, Danny has taken the Monster Factory to new heights, including in March 2023, they partnered with Apple TV+ and released a six episode documentary series entitled Monster Factory in partnership with Vox Media. The documentary starred Cage and five Monster Factory students: Notorious Mimi, Gabby Ortiz, Goldy, Bobby Buffet, and Lucas “Twitch” DiSangro. It tells the story of their training and personal lives, as well as the origins of the Monster Factory school.
Now Danny has taken to his personal Facebook page to question why the Monster Factory isn’t getting looks by WWE’s ID program, which essentially sponsors younger indie talent at specific wrestling schools. Danny compared it to being the number one college, but the NFL still not giving them looks. Danny posted;
Man. None our students are WWE ID either. Starting to feel a certain way about this. If this was any other industry there would be questions asked & articles written about “the number one college in sports but the NFL won’t take any of their prospects until they transfer to another school”
Very few schools were selected for WWE ID, but Danny, of course, feels like his school should be looked at.
