On January 28th, 2025 WWE aired the 770th episode of NXT live in Orlando Florida inside WWE Performance Center & can watch it on The CW (United States) & Netflix (Everywhere Else)
Note: This review will be shorter then normal as it be the last few mins of the match.
Tag Team Match
Women’s Champion Giulia & Bayley vs. Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade
Giulia lands a belly 2 belly suplex on Roxanne Perez then lands a boot as she charges at her in the corner and connects with a dropkick off the ropes.
Cora Jade looks to land a forearm on Giulia but accidentally hits Perez.
Giulia then rocks Jade with a headbutt and tags in Bayley. Bayley lands an elbow drop on Jade for the win.
Winners: Women’s Champion Giulia & Bayley
-Grayson Waller shouts out Austin Theory for being in his hometown and introduces NXT Champion Oba Femi. Femi’s music hits and he makes his way out.
-Waller welcomes Femi to The Grayson Waller Effect and Theory says that while some see Femi as a future main roster star, he & Waller don’t. Femi responds by telling Theory that he never saw him as an NXT Champion and he was right. Waller gets defensive and tells Femi that he wishes he could do what he & Theory do in the ring. Theory says that neither he or Waller are in NXT and are on Raw then says him and Waller have travelled around the world creating unforgettable moments. A fired up Femi challenges either Waller or Theory to a match for his NXT Title at Vengeance Day leading Ava to appear at ringside and an enraged Trick Williams to follow behind her.
-Williams stares down Femi then takes down A Town Down Under. Femi then powerbombs Williams.
Trick Williams vs. Wes Lee
Trick Williams connects with a bodyslam and a back body drop then sends Wes Lee crashing into the mat spine first and drags Tyson DuPont into the ring.
He beats him down then dumps Lee on top of DuPont on the outside and lands a right hand on him back in the ring.
Williams grabs a chair as the official tries to get Williams calmed down but Williams doesn’t listen and the ref disqualifies him.
Winner By DQ: Wes Lee
-We then head backstage to Ava’s office as Oba Femi walks in. Ava informs him that he will be defending his NXT Title against Grayson Waller & Austin Theory.
Women’s North American Title Match
Fallon Henley (c) vs. Shotzi
Shotzi sends her crashing into the mat face first and hits a senton off the top rope.
She goes for a pin but Fallon Henley kicks out.
Shotzi rolls up Henley once again but Henley kicks out and sends Shotzi crashing into the mat.
She then sends her crashing into the mat with a leg drop to her spine for the win.
Winner & Still Women’s North American Champion: Fallon Henley (STILL CHAMPION!!!)
-After the match, Stephanie Vaquer’s music hits and she appears on the entrance ramp. She stares down Henley as Henley holds up her Women’s North American Title.
Cedric Alexander vs. Ethan Page
Cedric Alexander & Ethan Page trade strikes with one another.
Alexander hits a couple of kicks to Page and looks to fly off the ropes.
Page trips him and connects with Twist Of Fate for the win.
Winner: Ethan Page
-After the match Page looks to continue beating down Alexander but Je Von Evans’ music hits and he runs down to the ring to take down Page.
Women’s Tag Team Titles Match
Bianca BelAir & Naomi (c) vs Meta Girls (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend)
Naomi rocks Lash Legend with an enzuigiri but Legend runs her over with a boot and tags in Jakara Jackson.
Jackson rolls up Naomi but Naomi reverses the fall but Jackson kicks out and Bianca BelAir tags in.
BelAir & Naomi then hit a double KOD to Jackson for the win
Winners & Still Women’s Tag Team Champions: Bianca BelAir & Naomi (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)
-After the match a colored bar screen appears with the words Vengeance Day shown on it as the show goes off the air.
