A disappointing ending.
GCW’s The People vs. GCW at the Hammerstein Ballroom is Live as of this writing. One of the marquee matches of the night was EFFY vs. Allie Katch with the winner getting a shot at Mance Warner’s GCW Title in the main event.
Well, the match went down but sadly only lasted a few minutes. Early on in the match, Allie Katch went for a suicide dive and landed incorrectly on her ankle, seemingly breaking her leg. She was yelling in pain and the match was stopped. In order to get the attention off of Allie, Mance Warner ran down and attacked EFFY, giving a look at the main event for tonight.
We wish Allie Katch well and hope she gets better as soon as possible. Prayers up for Allie.
