Tommy Dreamer On TNA Genesis PPV & 1/23 LIVE iMPACT Episode: “There’s Going To Be Nice Surprises For The Wrestling Fans”
Yesterday, ESPN broke the news of an official partnership between WWE & TNA Wrestling for NXT & TNA to utilize talent from both brands across all of their shows and special events. Both TNA and WWE confirmed the news themselves shortly after. Bodyslam covered the game-changing news.
Earlier today, Tommy Dreamer – who is a regular co-host of the Busted Open Radio show with Bully Ray & David LaGreca – delved into the relationship a little bit more and gave the fans a glimpse of what they can expect – stating this weekend.
“There’s a lot of cool stuff you can do and cooler stuff on the horizon. Genesis is this Sunday and then we are doing our first LIVE show in I don’t know how many years in San Antonio. There’s goin to be nice surprises for the wrestling fans – and you know me, Dave, I love giving the fans surprises. I love the reactions. Keeping things close to the hip, as they say, coming out of that announcement – it came out of nowhere and we kept it quiet, which is how it should be – and then everyone erupts and reacts.”

TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich appeared in the crowd on Tuesday’s NXT episode with the title belt over her shoulder. This left the internet buzzing with anticipation. Now, we know there will definitely be more to the story.
