TNA Announces New Tag Team Match + Stipulation For Existing Match At Genesis PPV

During tonight’s TNA iMPACT! show, it was revealed that Steve Maclin & Eric Young will team up to take on Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards (w/Alisha).

Young and Maclin defeated the team of FIR$T CLA$$ (AJ Francis & KC Navarro) when Eric Young lunged off the top rope and nailed KC Navarro with an ELBOW DROP from the top rope. Young secured the pinfall victory for his team.

As soon as they turned around, Brian Myers, Eddie & Alisha Edwards all made their way out and stood at the top of the ramp, staring down Maclin and Young.

After the very heated exchange between the two tonight, the match between Josh Alexander and Mike Santana is officially an I Quit Match.

During tonight’s TNA iMPACT! episode, TNA aired some footage from a Prestige Wrestling show last weekend that shows Judas Icarus and Travis Williams attacking Mike Santana after his match.

Josh Alexander came out with the Northern Armory and said that Santana was hurt badly this last weekend and cannot compete this weekend at Genesis. Mike Santana’s music hit and he came out through the crowd.

Santana told Josh he’s there to go through them because he won’t quit. He said he went through the whole System group by himself, and then through The Northern Armory all by himself as well. Santana challenged Josh to make their match at Genesis an I QUIT MATCH.

Josh said if he loses he’ll shake Santana’s hand, but that won’t happen. Josh claims that he’s going to prove to Santana that his place is at the bottom of the card / not the top. Santana laughs because he got Josh flustered.
