Renato Moicano Steps Up
A wild day in the world of MMA, as it was revealed this morning at the UFC 311 weigh-in’s that Arman Tsarukyan pulled out of the UFC 311 main event roughly 24 hours before of the fight, due to injury. Now, Renato Moicano, who was supposed to fight Beneil Dariush tomorrow, will now fight Islam Makhachev in the main event for the UFC Lightweight Championship.
Ahead of the biggest fight of Moicano’s life, he took to social media to send a message to the fans, saying he will be UFC champion tomorrow before saying God is good, and thanking the fans for the support.
Renato Moicano is a veteran of the fight game, but has really blown up in the last three years due to his incredible ability on the microphone, despite his broken English and of course, his fighting style. Now, with the fans behind him, it’s boosted him into a late notice title fight and the opportunity of a lifetime.
