A.I. Powered Judging To Be Tested For Oleksandr Usyk vs. Tyson Fury 2
The judging game is possibly changing.
Usyk vs. Fury 2
The rematch of the century is upon us this Saturday when Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury go at it for a second time. But, there will be an interesting new test happening for the bout. Many of times over the years, fans in combat sports have complained about the judging. From robberies, to wrong score cards, fans have long hated the human judges.
Now, to combat this, A.I. judging is being tested. Turki Alalshikh has announced via social media that an AI-powered judge will monitor the fight this Saturday and will be “free from bias and error.” But, don’t worry, this is just a test and it won’t impact the official results.
For the first time ever, an AI-powered judge will monitor the fight 🤖 Free from bias and human error brought to you by The Ring. This groundbreaking experiment, which won’t impact the official results, debuts during the biggest fight of the century, #Usyk2Fury, on December 21 🥊…
If it works out well, maybe this could be the new normal. Usyk vs. Fury is live December 21.
