WWE Monday Night Raw Review (June 17th) (Corpus Christi Texas)

Kicking off this week’s Raw with a video recap of Clash At The Castle.

Fans sing Seth Rollins’ song and welcome him back before Rollins welcomes them to Monday Night Rollins and introduces himself as the host of tonight’s show.

He says he’s going to cut to the chase, and he’s back for one reason. He says he got into the wrestling business to be the best of all time and says he can’t do that without getting back the title he made the World Heavyweight Title.

He looks up at the Mens & Womens Money In The Bank briefcases suspended above the ring and says with July 6th right around the corner, the briefcase is the fastest way for him to get another shot at the World Heavyweight Title.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring. He welcomes Rollins back and says he looks great and healthy. He says it’s good to have him back and says he’s been wanting to talk to Rollins. He tells Rollins he wanted to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase on him to win the World Heavyweight Title but Raw is no longer Monday Night Rollins.

Rollins tells Priest that they’re a lot alike and says they both made their names in groups. He says they both won the Money In The Bank briefcase and had to wait a long time to cash it in but when they did, it led to them winning World Titles at WrestleMania.

He asks Priest what kind of champion he wants to be and asks him what he wants his legacy to be.

Priest tells Rollins that it’s a fair question and says when Rollins held the World Heavyweight Title, he was his 1st challenger.

He says while Rollins defeated him, he was better than him but that is no longer the case. He offers to defend the World Heavyweight Title at Money In The Bank and Rollins questions if this is a trap.
