Adam Copeland On AEW WrestleDream Debut

The Rated R Superstar Adam Copeland, this week appeared on the AEW Unrestricted podcast, hosted by AEW referee Aubrey Edwards, and AEW senior administrative coordinator, Will Washington.

During the sit down discussion, Copeland recounted his surprise debut at AEW WrestleDream, and shares how his change in environment has benefited him, “All of this has been such a second act, really, and what’s been really fun about it is that I feel like I brought back more mentally.”

The Toronto native also talked about his child like excitement, of guerilla-filming his debut intro vignette with Darby Allin around the Seattle area, and how they secured the muscle car he arrived in.

Copeland also outlined why it was so important for him to debut with his “Metalingus” theme music. “I mean it was all very new to me because I’d been used to one thing for so long. So it was nice to bring Metalingus with me just to have that little bit of something familiar.”
