Kaito Kiyomiya Defeats Jake Lee To Become The #1 Contender For GHC Heavyweight Championship

The current Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC Heavyweight Champion El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr. now knows who he will be defending his title against on May 4th at Wrestle Magic 2024.

At the season 2 finale of NOAH’s Monday Magic which occurred on April 22, Kaito Kiyomiya defeated Jake Lee to become the #1 contender for the GHC Heavyweight Championship and earned the right to face Wagner Jr on May 4th. Kiyomiya was able to put Lee away with a Modified Shining Wizard after nearly twenty minutes of action between the two superstars.

With the victory, Kiyomiya avenged a loss to Lee that took place back in March 2023 when Lee defeated Kiyomiya for the GHC Heavyweight Title. After the match at Monday Magic, Lee shook the hand of Kiyomiya as a show of respect.

Wagner Jr came to the ring with his GHC Heavyweight Title and confronted Kiyomiya as the two opponents went at it verbally.

The Pro Wrestling NOAH Wrestle Magic 2024 event will air live on Wrestle Universe PPV on May 4th.
