The New Japan Pro-Wrestling Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2024 tour kicked off on April 20th at the Machida City General Gymnasium. There were over 1200 fans in attendance to witness the first show of the Road to Wrestling Dontaku 2024 series of events.
The featured match saw Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI defeat David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & Gedo in a ten man tag team encounter.

- Jeff Cobb, Francesco Akira & Callum Newman defeated Tomohiro Ishii, Tomoaki Honma & El Desperado (11:33) after Cobb’s Tour of the Island vs. Honma.
- Zack Sabre Jr., Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste & Kosei Fujita defeated Hikuleo, El Phantasmo, Jado & Shoma Kato (10:42) after a crab hold by Fujita against Kato.
- SANADA & DOUKI defeated SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru (9:40) after the skull end of SANADA against Kanemaru.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, Shota Umino & Oleg Boltin defeated “King of Darkness” EVIL, Ren Narita, Yujiro Takahashi & Dick Togo (11:27) after a Death Rider by Umino against Togo.
- Taichi & Yuya Uemura defeated Great-O-Khan & TJP (12:54) after Taichi’s Tensho Jujiho against TJP.
- Main Event: Tetsuya Naito, Shingo Takagi, Yota Tsuji, Hiromu Takahashi & BUSHI defeated David Finlay, Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney & Gedo (16:20) after a jackknife hold by Naito against Gedo.
