Report: Rhea Ripley Dealing With Severe Injury, Could Be Forced To Vacate Women’s Championship

Rhea Ripley is currently injured.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that the current holder of the WWE Women’s Championship, Rhea Ripley is dealing with a severe injury, per multiple sources.

On last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, following her successful defense at WrestleMania 40 against Becky Lynch, Ripley was attacked by Liv Morgan backstage which was then mentioned that the two would have a face-to-face on the April 15 edition of Raw.

However, due to the injury, PWInsider is reporting that tonight’s episode may feature Ripley being forced to vacate her championship due to how severe it is.

Ripley has been champion for over a year, winning it at WrestleMania 39 against Charlotte Flair following her win at the Royal Rumble. Ripley would spend the year defending and dominating the division before colliding with Lynch at WrestleMania 40 in the opener of night one.
