The NJPW G1 Climax 34 Official Schedule Has Been Revealed

The New Japan Pro-Wrestling G1 Climax 34 is set to kick off on July 20th in EDION Arena Osaka and run through August 18 where it will conclude at Ryogoku Sumo Hall In Tokyo. The entire schedule was revealed today at NJPW’s Road to Sakura Genesis event.

Here is the full schedule of G1 Climax 34 events:

  • Saturday July 20 & Sunday July 21- Opening Weekend- Osaka: EDION Arena Osaka
  •  Tuesday July 23 Hiroshima: Hiroshima Sun Plaza Hall
  • Thursday July 25 Kagawa: Sun Messe Kagawa
  • Saturday July 27 Nagasaki: Dejima Messe Nagasaki
  • Sunday July 28 & Monday July 29 Fukuoka: Fukuoka International Center
  • Wednesday July 31 Yamaguchi: KDDI Ishin Hall
  • Saturday August 3 Osaka: Yamato University Yamato Arena
  • Sunday August 4 Aichi: Dolphins Arena
  • Tuesday August 6 & Wednesday August 7 Tokyo: Korakuen Hall
  • Thursday August 8 Kanagawa: Yokohama Budokan
  • Saturday August 10 Miyazaki: Xebio Arena Sendai 
  • Monday August 12 Niigata: Aore Nagaoka
  • Wednesday August 14 Shizuoka: Hamamatsu Arena
  • Thursday August 15 Chiba: Makuhari Messe 
  • Saturday August 17 & Sunday August 18 Tokyo: Ryogoku Sumo Hall

The have been no talent announcements for G1 Climax 34 as of this writing.

The NJPW G1 Climax is arguably the biggest tournament in professional wrestling. The G1 Climax, which was preceded by the IWGP League, MSG League & World League tournaments, began in 1991. Many top names have won the prestigious G1 Climax including Masahiro Chono, Tatsumi Fujinami, Hirooki Goto, Kazuchika Okada, Kenny Omega & Keiji Mutoh & Kota Ibushi.

Tetsuya Naito was the winner of last year’s G1 Climax and went on to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 18.
