Ruthless Pro Wrestling presents MIASMA Preview

WrestleMania weekend, for many, is considered the biggest celebration of the year in our industry. But for the world of independent wrestling, it’s an enclave of promotions and talents from around the world joining together to provide their fans with special events that may only be seen once in a lifetime.

The H2O Wrestling center in Williamstown, NJ, is running weeklong events with the biggest of those events being Ohio-based Ruthless Pro Wrestling (RPW) presenting MIASMA. The best way I can explain this event is that it has the vibe of the World Cup of Extreme wrestling. Talent from America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK will battle it out in some of the most violent matches.

Some of the featured bouts are “The Duke” John Wayne Murdoch taking on Japanese deathmatch sensation Yusaku Ito in a Tokyo Towers and Light tube bundles match.

In Tag team action, Schwartzy and Randi West battle the Bald World Order in east coast legend Low life Louie and the unpredictable Dr. Redacted in a Red-light district Deathmatch.

Speaking of tag teams, the reigning RPW tag team champions, the Midwest Scum, have an open challenge to the 44OH. What makes this challenge so interesting is Ricky Shane Page’s history at the H2O Center, where he was notoriously banned due to his brutal history against Matt Tremont. The question that everyone is asking: will Ricky Shane and his tag team partner Vincent Nothing show up? Only time will tell.

International talents collide as “The Smash Hit “from Australia Joel Bateman wages war against Danny Darko of the UK. But this will not be an ordinary match as the stipulations will be Razor Boards and panes of glass deathmatch.

“The Human Meat Grinder” Shlak takes on “The Blood Fighter” Clint Margera of the UK in the Danny Havoc Viking Tribute match. The late great Danny Havoc played an important role in the life of these two warriors of the ring. For Clint Margera, Danny Havoc was his hero and inspiration to become a professional wrestler. For Margera, his opponent on that night was the last opponent in the career of Danny Havoc. This match will be a spectacle of mayhem and brutality, paying tribute to one of the all-time greats in deathmatch wrestling.

A match three years in the making will take place as one of the fastest rising stars in wrestling, Judge Joe Dred with his legal representative, Steven Jury, takes on “The KillDozer” Matt Tremont in a Typhoon of Light tubes match. At the last RPW event, Animosity Judge Dred stated he wants to set Tremont free so he can become the Bulldozer once again. Ever since his match against Krule, Matt Tremont has become a monster, attacking everyone who stands in his way, including his own H2O students. Can Dred be the one to finally exorcist the monster within Matt Tremont??

“The Carnivore” Remington Rhor defends his RPW Kamikaze Championship against New Zealander Vic Craig. Rhor has been on a path of destruction ever since he won the championship from Randi West in Chicago. With this being his US excursion, Vic Craig has a hard battle ahead of him. But Craig is no stranger to gold. He has won championships in New Zealand. Can Craig defeat Rhor or will The Carnivore claim another victim?

For the RPW Rust Belt Championship, the champion and a man who has become the most hated wrestler on the roster, Thomas Oliver Vendetta defends his title against 44OH member Otis Cogar, former RPW Heavyweight Champion Hoodfoot and The UK’s own Lou Nixon, who will also be competing at Josh Barnetts blood sport event that weekend. Vendetta has been a pain to deal with for both management and the fans. On Sunday, April 7th, his luck may just have run out.

RPW Heavyweight champion “The Last Nail” Atticus Cogar had requested a match against former TNA star “The fire starter” Jake Crist. Both men represent the state of Ohio. Atticus Cogar has been called the world’s most dangerous wrestler, a newly crowned champion who wants to make a statement in his very first title defense. His opponent is considered one of the best wrestlers that the state of Ohio has ever produced. Wrestling fans, this is what we call the big fight.

Tickets can be purchased at ticketleap.com front row has already been sold out. The event will air live on IWTV.
