Conrad Thompson’s Silence Grows Louder Fueling Speculation On His Wrestling Future

Conrad Thompson’s silence is growing louder.

This morning, podcast partner Matt Koon referenced Conrad has been silent on Twitter since February 23.

We at Bodyslam.net reached out to Matt Koon for a comment on the situation, and he stated:

“It’s weird. You can quote me on that. He always answers texts and calls unless he’s busy, like at a live show or a mortgage meeting. We talk and text frequently.

My guess is he’s being inundated with people contacting him and he’s waiting before he reacts.. just a guess.”

Speculation is mounting that Conrad may join Bruce Prichard in the WWE. Where does this leave Conrad’s other podcasts and his venture with Starrcast?

Conrad did state in an interview on Busted Open that Starrcast is an independent operation from All Elite Wrestling, but could it be put in jeopardy if he signs with the WWE.

What of the already announced Undertaker being a part of Starrcast?

Jim Ross himself said on the Jim Ross Report, “I heard it through the grapevine that The Undertaker’s decision to appear at Starrcast for Conrad Thompson has not been a popular front office decision,” said Ross.

In spite of rumors saying WWE may try to pull Undertaker, Starrcast has filed for the trademark of “Dead Man Talking”.

If Conrad goes to the WWE, is this the end of Starrcast? Will Undertaker indeed be pulled if Starrcast continues?

When reaching out to Koon for further comment, he sent the link to Adam Wilbourn of What Culture’s statement that he Wilbourn will be speaking to Conrad on Tuesday.
