PROGRESS Tag Team Championship Match

– The Grizzled Young Veterans (James Drake & Zack Gibson) defeated #CCK (Chris Brookes & Kid Lykos) via submission to win the PROGRESS Tag Team Titles.

Before the match Gibson cuts a promo on #CCK making fun of their merch and the recent injuries to Kid Lykos. A few minutes into the match Drake and Gibson catch Lykos during an attempted dive to the outside and toss him into the chairs at ringside. This gives them a 2 on 1 advantage for a while, until eventually Lykos reappears and connects with a dive off of a side-platform onto both Drake and Gibson. However, Lykos injures in shoulder on the move and is taken to the back by paramedics. Brookes puts up a good fight on his own, and at one point even threw Gibson off the stage into the chairs. But before long the number advantage proved to be too much, Gibson locks in his submission finisher the Shankly Gates and gets the victory for his team.

** After the match, Kid Lykos was taken to the hospital where they popped his dislocated shoulder back into place.
