Ember Mood has a lot of hype surrounding her when she was called up to the main roster. But sadly, she is barely featured nowadays. While she has been given a few chances to showcase her abilities, they weren’t much.
She spoke to Planeta Wrestling and discussed the glass ceiling in NXT, among other things. This is what she said:
“I think for me personally it started on the independent scene where we kind of struggled and roughed it for a hot dog and a soda all the way up to when I got signed at NXT and I thought that was kinda like the glass ceiling for me. I was NXT Women’s Champion and then I got drafted to Monday Night Raw.”
“It’s crazy to see people posting photos of what I used to look like and what I look like now. I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh,’ I don’t even recognize me from like 10-15 years ago. It’s crazy, it’s awesome. I take more risks now as you guys can see and I’m not afraid to.”
Ember is currently happy with where she is on RAW. While she is still waiting for a big push, she is glad she has gotten past that glass ceiling that was hanging over her.
