Why Dean Ambrose Turned Heel On RAW In Conjunction With Roman Reign’s Leukaemia Announcement

WWE has received backlash by a lot of fans online due to Roman’s heat disappearing thanks to his leukaemia announcement on this week’s RAW. Many also didn’t like the fact that Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins immediately after winning the RAW Tag Team Championships at the end of RAW, thus having both a sad start and ending in the show.

It was somewhat of a letdown considering the Shield just recently came back, only for them to be broken apart once again. According to Dave Meltzer, on the latest audio update of Wrestling Observer, this is a trend that WWE has incorporated for years now and it doesn’t seem like like it will change anytime soon. This is what he said:

”They live in a world where their fake world is more important than the real world and when you think like that you do things like this. You do things like all of the decisions that they make or many of the decisions that they make. It’s kind of sad in that way.”

“But this time the real world infringed on their fake television show and instead of respecting it, it’s like the mentality is: ‘Okay it sucks, it’s sad, so how do we benefit from it?’”

“I was thinking that if he does get cured and he comes back it’ll be a wonderful story but I wasn’t thinking how can we benefit from this in the next 2 hours?”’

It’s just bad decision making on part of WWE and there is nothing to be done about it except wait to see what happens next.
