Former WWE Champion CM Punk’s next MMA fight is official, and it will take place at UFC 225 against Mike “The Truth” Jackson.
UFC 225 will emanate from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on June 9th, 2018. The official UFC 225 fight poster has been released and it features CM Punk. You can see the poster below:
CM Punk lost his first UFC fight to Mickey Gall, who beat Mike Jackson for the opportunity to face Punk in the former WWE Superstar’s first MMA fight.
The Main Event for UFC 225 will feature a UFC Middleweight Championship between champion Robert Whittaker and former interim title challenger Yoel Romero. The two previously fought in July 2017 at UFC 213 which saw Whittaker win the vacant interim title via unanimous decision.
The Co-Main Event will see an interim UFC Welterweight Championship bout between former UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos and Colby Covington, which was originally suppose to take place at UFC 224 last month.
