Drew McIntyre hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since WrestleMania 42. There were rumors circulating that McIntyre was supposed to return to WWE for the build to SummerSlam but that’s now false.

According to PWInsider, WWE’s creative team doesn’t have any creative plans for Drew McIntyre because his schedule is fully booked by Hollywood.

Mcintyre has just wrapped the upcoming Highlander reboot in Scotland & now has been added to the cast of Last Druid, an action film starring Henry Cavill
