AEW had the debut of their PPV Redemption at the Bell Centre in Montreal. The show saw Speedball Mike Bailey become the number one contender for the International Championship, Maya World become the new TBS Champion, and Willow Nightingale become the new Women’s World Champion. Friendships were tested and battle lines were drawn between Will Ospreay, The Death Riders, and World Champion Kenny Omega.
