Triple H: Saturday Night’s Main Event was Highest Grossing WWE Arena Event Ever
Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th featured the final match of legendary professional wrestler/sports entertainer John Cena. 19,232 people packed the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. to witness not only this match but a showcase of the future with several NXT talent wrestling including NXT Champion Oba Femi, Sol Ruca, Je’Von Evans, and even the current TNA X Division Champion Leon Slater.
According to WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Saturday Night’s Main Event was the highest grossing WWE arena event ever and also the highest grossing event in the history of Capital One Arena.
