The internet wrestling community and social media have been in a huge tizzy over the possibility of AJ Styles appearing in TNA ever since TNA President Carlos Silva tweeted out that additional seating would be needed for the PHENOMENAL event.
On top of that, Fightful Select has a new report out, heavily insinuating that AJ will be appearing.
“When we’ve asked internally about AJ Styles’ status at Slammiversary, no one would give as a definitive straight answer. However, one source said they believed that Styles would be there.”
AJ Styles was a mainstay on the TNA roster until 2013, and has been a WWE star for a majority of the time since then.
During a previous June 2024 interview with Cultaholic Wrestling, Styles was asked if he would like to one day have a final match in TNA before he calls time on his career. “Hopefully something like that happens,” Styles said. “It’s good not only for talent in WWE to go to TNA, TNA to come to WWE, but it’s better for the younger talent to get into the ring with some people who have different styles. It’s very important that we are well-rounded, and you can’t do that all in NXT. So the fact that we’re going to be able to do that somewhere else is great.”
