Michael Chandler is a top contender in UFC and still in the middle of his fight career. But, could he end up in WWE post-UFC? He certainly wants that. During an interview with The Schmo during Fanatics FanFest, Michael Chandler revealed that he had talks at FanFest with Triple H about a WWE contract, which is not the first time they have had talks.
Chandler revealed that he really wants to transition to WWE in the future and it seems like Triple H is on board, too. He also revealed he’d want to be a heel and his freak opponent would be Rey Mysterio.
Michael Chandler has been on RAW before, last year, where he cut a promo and called out Conor McGregor. Plus, with WWE and UFC’s TKO Synergy, it’s an easy transition. While Michael Chandler is still in UFC, he doesn’t have a fight currently scheduled. He revealed during the interview that he wants to take the full summer off and will start talking about a return in the Fall to return at the end of the year, if not early next year. He has no names on the table as of now.
