Two TNA Against All Odds Matches Ranked In Top 12 On Cagematch, Plus Other Notable Mentions

Cagematch.net is a very statistical pro wrestling website where fans can vote on matches and shows/events. “In 2007, we revolutionized the wrestling internet by not only establishing the first internet wrestling database but also creating the ratings system, which gave thousands of wrestling fans the opportunity to rate their favourite wrestlers, events, matches, etc.”

Last weekend, there were quite a few across the pro wrestling landscape, including: WWE Friday Night Smackdown, TNA Against All Odds on Friday night, AAA X WWE Worlds Collide and WWE Money In The Bank on Saturday night, as well as NXT this past Tuesday and Dynamite this past Wednesday.

Yestedsay, Brandon Thurston of WrestleNomics put together a list of the top 65 matches going back from last Friday to Wednesday night.

TNA Wrestling: Aagainst All Odds had former WWE star & current TNA stars Mustafa Ali taking on one half of the “Great Hands” Jason Hotch. Jason is also a member of Order 4 – headed by Mustafa Ali – where Ali felt he had to put Hotch in his place. This match was very good and ranked number 7 on the list with a 7.95 overall rating, which was voted on by 37 fans.

Also taking top spot was TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich defending her title against for WWE star (Xia Li) Lei Ying Lee, which came in at #12 with a 7.70 rating. It was voted on by 36 fans.

Given all of the action over the last week, it’s pretty great for 12 to have two matches that landed in the top 12 of that list.

Other notable mentions:

-Robert Stone fell to Santino Marella, and the match came In the number 31 spot and finished with a 6.64 rating. These two battled for the Director of Authority position.
-Steve Maclin successfully defending his TNA International Title against “The Southern Psycho” Mance Warner (w/SDL) came in at #33 with a 6.52 match rating.
-Nic & Ryan Nemeth successfully defended the TNA Tag Team Titles against The Rascalz (Trey Miguel & Zachary Wentz) in a match that came in at number 43, with a 6.20 rating.
-The System (Moose, JDC, Brian Myers, Eddie Edwards w/Alisha) lost to the team of Matt & Jeff Hardy, Leon Slater, and this mysterious “home town man.” The match came down at the number 45 spot with a 6.15 rating.
-Ash, Heather, & M By Elegance (w/Personal Concierge) defeated Harley Hudson, Myla Grace, & Xia Brookside on the Countdown To Against All Odds pre show. The match came in at number 54 to a 5.50 match rating.
-TNA World Champion Trick Williams have his second successful defense of the title when he defeated Elijah in the
Main Event of the show. The match was in the 61 spot to a 4.93 match rating.

The TNA Against All Odds show as a whole averaged a mediocre 6.00 rating, which only consisted of 18 votes.
