Justin Gaethje Still Planning To Fight At UFC 313 Despite Dan Hooker Pull-Out

Justin is ready for anyone.

UFC 313 Co-Main Event

News broke early this week via Dan Hooker’s YouTube that he broke his hand and will have to pull out of the UFC 313 co-main event against Justin Gaethje. The UFC 313 pay-per-view headlined by Alex Pereira vs. Magomed Ankalaev was co-headlined by a unusual five round non-title fight that would pit two legends and two dogs against each other in Gaethje and Hooker.

The fans were anticipating an absolute war between the two, but that’s now been cancelled. Despite this, Justin Gaethje still plans to remain on the card. Of course, Justin isn’t backing down from anyone, either. Daniel Cormier first revealed on his YouTube channel that he spoke with Justin Gaethje on the phone, and he says he will still fight at UFC 313, regardless of an opponent. He will take on anyone. Names like Rafael Fiziev, Mateus Gamrot and Renato Moicano have all taken to social media to throw their name into the hat to step in on a little over a weeks notice.

UFC has not officially announced anything as of yet, but speculation has been running wild that Justin’s new opponent may be revealed by days end. If this is the case, we will continue to provide updates.
