Mandy Rose is a former WWE superstar who really made a baker for herself in her final years as a part of WWE NXT where she became NXT Women’s Champion. Now, like many other former wrestlers, she has a podcast. And that can only mean bad things.
Tiffany Stratton is the current WWE Women’s Champion on the SmackDown brand and recently cut a promo asking for the fans to “Put respect on my name!”. Apparently, Mandy Rose took that personal as that’s “her catchphrase”. She spoke about Tiffany’s promo and accused her of stealing the line.
And another little story that just happened, Friday night SmackDown, someone, a new champion named Tiffany Stratton, used my slogan. “Put some respect on my name.” And I was like, to be honest, I wasn’t even watching yet, and I got, yeah, I got so many tweets about it. And I was like “what is going on?” And I saw the clip, and this bitch even used like the same kind of tone!
In fairness to Tiffany, the line “put some respect on my name” has been used quite frequently for decades now. Hell, even rapper Birdman pushed that as his slogan years before. Mandy may have some research to do!
