The Bang Bang Gang Stripped Of The AEW Trios Championships At AEW Collision Tapings In Calgary

The Freebird Rule is not allowed apparently…

Jay White, Austin Gunn, and Colten Gunn have been stripped of the AEW Trios Titles.

During the AEW Collision Tapings in Calgary on Wednesday following this week’s live episode of AEW Dynamite, The Bang Bang Gang was forced to vacate the AEW Trios Championships by acting “EVP” Christopher Daniels after they tried to substitute Juice Robinson for an injured Jay White by using the “freebird rule.” White is out of action after selling injuries he was said to have sustained during his recent Owen Hart Foundation Cup Match against Hangman Adam Page.

Instead of allowing Juice Robinson to fill in for Jay White, Daniels announced that a future match will take place for the vacant AEW Trios Titles between Juice  Robinson & The Gunns against The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch, and Nick Wayne). The date of the match was not announced.

The segment featuring Christopher Daniels stripping The Bang Bang Gang will air on the Saturday, July 13th episode of AEW Collision, which will air at 8 p.m. Eastern time on TNT.
