CM Punk Reportedly Does Not Have A No-Compete Clause

In an exclusive report dropped by WrestlePurists, CM Punk “doesn’t and has never had a no-compete clause.”

“According to sources close to the situation on CM Punk’s side, we were able to confirm that CM Punk does not and has never had a no compete clause since he was let go by AEW. He is free to appear wherever he wants if booked to.”

The report also states that:

“CM Punk has also had contact with multiple WWE roster members recently, including top stars.”

This is a step needed to return, as he would have to make amends with top talent.

It was noted yesterday by Fightful Select that TNA has communicated their interest in CM Punk.

If he does not somehow show up at Survivor Series, what’s next? Do the goal posts get pushed back to the Royal Rumble or Wrestle Mania? We’ll have to keep standing by on that one.
