Exclusive: Lyra Valkyria’s First Challenger For The NXT Women’s Championship Revealed

Lyra Valkyria will have a new challenger on tonight’s edition of NXT.

On tonight’s show, Lyra is advertised to return to NXT after winning the NXT Women’s Championship back at night one of Halloween Havoc when she defeated Becky Lynch.

Many have questioned who will come first for Lyra as she begins her reign as champion, and now we know who will step up to the champion.

Multiple sources in NXT have confirmed to Bodyslam.net that Lyra’s first challenger for the NXT Women’s Championship is set to be none other than Monday Night RAW star Xia Li. Li is set to confront the champion on tonight’s NXT, but are not expected to face off on the show this evening.

On Monday’s edition of RAW, Xia would take out Becky Lynch prior to a Battle Royal to decide the next challenger for Rhea Ripley’s Women’s World Championship. She would then be removed from the match herself due to the incident.
